ChessLift Privacy Policy

We built ChessLift because we wanted a simple, enjoyable way to practice chess every day. We don’t sell data, we don’t track people, and we don’t run ads. We respect your privacy, and we designed the app so we don’t need to know anything about you.

What We Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal information
• Email addresses
• Names
• Payment information
• Device identifiers
• Location information
• IP addresses
• Usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers
• Cookies or tracking data

ChessLift does not require an account. Everything stays on your device.

Data Storage

Your progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
We do not transmit or sync this data to any server.

If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.

Ads & Tracking

• We do not serve ads.
• We do not use tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks.
• We do not sell or share data with anyone.

Third-Party Code

ChessLift uses a few open-source libraries to function properly:

These libraries operate locally and do not send data anywhere.

Internet Access

The app may occasionally request access to the internet to:

• Check for app updates through the App Store / Play Store mechanisms

But we do not send any data out.

Children’s Privacy

Since we do not collect any information or store any accounts, ChessLift is safe for all ages.
We comply with COPPA and GDPR simply by not collecting data in the first place.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever decide to introduce user accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or anything involving personal data, we will:

1. Update this policy clearly,
2. Give you the ability to opt-in voluntarily,
3. Never enable data collection without your consent.

We don’t like shady surprises, and we won’t create them.
